Nations League GROUPS


Groups of the League of Nations 2020/2021 edition:

GROUPS OF THE LEAGUE A

GROUP A1: Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and the Netherlands.
GROUP A2: Iceland, Denmark, Belgium and England.
GROUP A3: Croatia, Sweden, France and Portugal.
GROUP A4: Germany, Ukraine, Spain and Switzerland.

LEAGUE GROUPS B

GROUP B1: ROMANIA, Northern Ireland, Norway and Austria.
GROUP B2: Israel, Slovakia, Scotland and the Czech Republic.
GROUP B3: Hungary, Turkey, Serbia and Russia.
GROUP B4: Bulgaria, Ireland, Finland and Wales.

LIGA GROUPS C

Group C1: Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Cyprus and Montenegro.
Group C2: Armenia, Estonia, North Macedonia and Georgia.
Group C3: Moldova, Slovenia, Kosovo and Greece.
Group C4: Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Belarus and Albania.

LIGA GROUPS D

GROUP D1: Malta, Andorra, Latvia and the Faroe Islands.
GROUP D2: San Marino, Liechtenstein and Gibraltar.

The matches in the group stage of the League of Nations will be played between September and November 2020.

The winners of the A-League groups will participate in the final tournament of the League of Nations, in June 2021: semifinals / finals. The trophy holder is Portugal.

The winners of the groups in the B, C and D leagues will promote in the upper division.

The last ones ranked in the A and B leagues will be downgraded to the lower division. As there are only two groups in League D, the relegated teams in League C will be established following a play-out in March 2022.

The ranking of the League of Nations will also influence the World Cup preliminaries 2022.
